A Maine native, Jeremy Cota's laid-back style may be what will take him all the way. Cota had some impressive wins on the NorAm tour under his belt and made the U.S. Ski Team in the 2010 season. He's has had some great experience with winning, and he flawlessly carried that experience into his World Cup rookie season.

The 2015 season was a strong one for Cota, who skied to a second place podium and five top-10 finishes on the World Cup tour.

FIRST TRACKS
As a ski instructor at Big Squaw Mountain (a small mountain in Maine), Cota's mother was responsible for introducing him to the world of skiing. When he was about three years old, Jeremy put on his first pair of skis and soon thereafter began experimenting with alpine racing. He joined the Sugarloaf Freestyle Program when he was 12 and stuck with it, as it seemed like a much less serious style of skiing that worked well with his carefree personality. It was at Carrabassett Valley Academy in Maine, however, where he got hooked to the sport. Attending CVA for five years, Cota worked on developing his strength and skills as a mogul skier.

OFF THE SNOW
Cota spends most of his time enjoying the great outdoors, whether it be mountain biking, playing tennis, or flipping through picture books. He enjoys listening to Taylor Swift and going on adventures.
