BIOGRAPHY:
While sister Sadie tore up the amateur scene in 2011, Erik Bjornsen was busy writing the next chapter of the Bjornsen legacy, terrorizing the NCAA ranks with strong result after strong result. The University of Alaska-Anchorage freshman had three top-10 finishes in his first year, including a second in the 20k classic at NCAA Championships. The result earned him All-American honors. Bjornsen also adds Junior National Championships to an impressive young resume as he looks to take the next step to elite competition in 2012.

ERIK SAYS:
I had a lot of fun racing the NCAA circuit last year. Next year I'm really excited to take skiing to the next level.

FIRST TRACKS:
Erik started downhill skiing as a young child but when his family realized cross country skiing in the Methow Valley was some of the best in the region, they made the switch and Erik has been competing in cross country ever since.

OFF THE SNOW:
Erik likes to hang out with friends and family in his free time. He also likes biking, hiking, camping and doing stuff in the outdoors.
